Angela Forsyth, PT, DPT

Angie is a physical therapist specializing in hemophilia, bleeding disorders and orthopedics, practicing in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She has worked with the bleeding disorders community since 1997, and has been part of the core team at a Hemophilia Treatment Center (HTC) since 2001. Angie earned her clinical doctorate in physical therapy from Temple University in 2007.
In addition to her clinical work with the HTC, Angie is active in regional, national and international activities and has given presentations regarding physical therapy and bleeding disorders at all levels. Angie is also active in the National Hemophilia Foundation (NHF) where she was awarded the NHF Physical Therapy Fellowship in 2003 and received the NHF Physical Therapist of the Year award in 2004. She was the past Region III Representative and Chair of the Physical Therapy Working Group of the National Hemophilia Foundation.
Angie is also an active member of the World Federation of Hemophilia (WFH). She has presented physiotherapy workshops in 4 developing countries over the two years and her HTC Team received an award for Outstanding Twin of the year for their partnership with the Princess Marina Hospital in Botswana. Angie is also a member of the Musculoskeletal Committee, where she holds the position of Senior Vice Chair. She has presented at multiple Musculoskeletal and World Congresses, most recently in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Angie lives in New Jersey with her two sons and Airedale Terrier puppy Magie Noir, who is on his way to becoming a certified therapy dog.
