Ruth Mulvany, PT, DPT, MS

Ruth Mulvany is an associate professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at the University of Tennessee in Memphis. She has 20 years of experience working with people with bleeding disorders. Dr. Mulvany has lectured extensively on issues related to hemophilia and the musculoskeletal system, both nationally and abroad, and has held office in a wide number of committees and professional organizations. She has been the recipient of numerous honors and awards, including the Excellence in Teaching Award in 1992, 1995 and 2000 from the University of Tennessee, Memphis; Physical Therapist of the Year, 2002, from the National Hemophilia Foundation; University of Tennessee National Alumni Association Outstanding Teacher Award, 2006. Dr. Mulvany also has published widely in professional journals, and presented independent research at scientific conferences and meetings. She is married with 2 children and 4 dogs.
