We founded Bayer Leadership U with hemophilia advocacy organizations, healthcare professional thought leaders, and other community advocates — to help prepare future leaders in the hemophilia community.
For more than a decade, Bayer has offered motivated, young individuals like you a paid internship at our U.S. headquarters in New Jersey. You’ll spend six weeks participating in activities that help you grow personally and professionally. To qualify, you must have a strong interest in and commitment to becoming a future leader in the hemophilia community. Leadership U interns will participate in activities that sharpen leadership skills and apply these skills in a real-world corporate setting through a variety of independent projects.
Selected interns will:
Engage in leadership training and hands-on business projects
Support the hemophilia community
Participate in formal training on communication skills, effective problem solving and leadership
Learn from mentors within Bayer
Collaborate with local hemophilia organizations and partner with business professionals
Be responsible for developing a project that will be presented to Bayer senior management
You’ll also meet with healthcare policy folks in D.C. and the National Hemophilia Foundation in New York City.
To apply, interested U.S. students enrolled full-time in college who are affected by hemophilia and who have contributed to the community should:
